N5TM 2012 TXQP Route

Dan-N5TM and Chuck-NO5W have formed a team at the last minute to cover deep southeast Texas and some central Texas. We'll be operating mostly CW but will try some SSB when/if things get slow. We will try to return to the same frequency on each band subject to some QSY to avoid QRM with other stations. Expect to find us on CW up around the 40's most of the time but when QRM gets heavy on Saturday evening be sure to listen for us in the 20-30 KHz range on 40m.

If you look at our route on Google Maps using the link below you'll see that coming across Madison County on the Old Spanish Route (OSR) just before reaching I-45 we enter a section of OSR that defines the county line between Madison and Leon for about twenty miles and then the OSR changes immediately to being the county line between Brazos and Robertson for another twenty miles. So during each of those two segments be prepared to work us twice in two separate back-to-back QSOs.

Looking forward to putting you in our log early and often.

    73 Dan-N5TM Chuck
